WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — No. 1-ranked Purdue came out on top Friday night, defeating the Oakland Golden Grizzlies 87-77 in Mackey Arena.

Braden Smith led the Boilermakers with 20 points and nine assists. CJ Cox added 14 points while Oscar Cluff scored 14 points with nine rebounds.
