Barnes is second on the Lions with 34 total tackles this season and third with two sacks. He is one of two players in the NFL to force a safety this season (Kaveon Merriweather, Tampa Bay). Barnes is one of five players with at least 30 total tackles, two sacks and two tackles-for-loss through the first five weeks.
George Karlaftis finished with two total tackles, a half-sack and a fumble recovery on Monday Night Football at Jacksonville. His fumble recovery came after Nick Bolton forced the ball out on a fourth-and-one on the one-yard line to hold Jacksonville out of the end zone.
